We were asked to manufacture and install a new staircase for one of our local customers. They had been undertaking works to complete the conversion of their listed barn in to a family home.
The staircase was manufactured from Redwood and was factory spray primed ready for finishing with a white paint. The paint was applied by hand after installation. The handrail was manufactured in Oak and was waxed finished. The wax finish was also applied by hand.
The staircase consisted of two flights and one landing with a balustrade edging the right side of each flight and either side of the existing gallery landing at the top.
The handrail required two turns to follow the path of the stairs with a monkey tail at the start of the first flight. All of which were crafted by hand by us.
