We were asked to work on this Grade II listed Edwardian house that was built in the early 1900’s. We worked with Smallwood Architects who were brought in to undertake various refurbishments of the property for the new owner who wanted to reinstate some of the houses lost original features.
We were asked to refit the break and tea point area of this open plan office space. Due to the open plan design of the office we had to ensure that what we manufactured and installed was in keeping with the existing office design. The client wanted a bright, smart and contemporary area for staff to be able to meet and relax.
We designed, manufactured and installed a new portico for the front of the property. The original portico had been removed sometime before so there was nothing original left to work with.
The portico was a particularly challenging project due to its curved design and structure and the intricate detail required to replicate the original details on the cornice and the porticos exterior.
We also manufactured and installed new bespoke windows and doors to the orangery and completed restoration of the existing door surrounds.
